CrossCountry partners with growing companies to transform their financial accounting experience by leveraging leading cloud software solutions in close management and accounting. We provide the highest level of service and expertise for our customers' implementation, enhancement projects, and post-production support needs. Responsibilities
    • Supports system implementations and optimization of clients' use of leading close management software
    • Reviews clients' current close documentation, defines future state processes, and advises on best practices for close management
    • Assists with integrations between close management software and clients' accounting systems or other third party tools
    • Helps to identify, assess, and analyze business challenges within the Finance and Accounting organization requiring an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
    • Contributes knowledge and best practices of key accounting related business processes (e.g., Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Financial Close, etc.)
    • Supports various Business Transformation projects including (but not limited to): system strategy and selection, process or finance improvement and optimization, operations performance improvement, change management, program or project management, data analytics, business analysis
    • Reviews status, manages schedules, monitors progress, and prepares status reports
    • Assesses and escalates project issues, risks, or conflicts to leadership and suggests resolutions
    • Proactively partners with CrossCountry Consulting's leadership team on internal projects, including but not limited to the following: sales/marketing initiatives, recruiting, training, and organizational development
    • Willingness to travel domestically up to 50%
Required Experience & Qualifications
    • 2+ years of relevant experience with functional and technical proficiency with the use and/or implementation of a mid-market close management software (e.g., FloQast, Blackline, Vena Solutions, Oracle Cloud EPM, etc)
    • Prior experience in professional services (public accounting or advisory firm), preferably at a large, global accounting firm or with a management consulting firm
    • Finance or accounting background with knowledge of General Ledger and Sub-ledger concepts preferred (e.g., Chart of Accounts, Journal Entries, Intercompany transfers and allocations, AP, AR, trial balance data, General Ledger, Procurement, and Asset Management)
    • Experience developing and formatting data to meet export/import requirements as defined by system rules
    • Excellent communication skills required - must develop, implement, and maintain sources of project information, communicating appropriate information to client as well as other team members
Desired Experience & Qualifications
    • Additional experience in accounting (e.g., financial reporting, operational accounting, accounting policy, transactions, etc.) and/or business transformation (e.g., project management, process optimization, finance transformation, change management, operations and performance improvement, etc.)
    • Experience using a Financial System and/or designing and facilitating setup and configuration of one or more modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Procurement, Expenses)
    • Strong attention to detail with the ability to think from a "big picture" perspective
    • Demonstrated track record of establishing credibility both internally and externally

Education & Certifications
    • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Accounting, Business, Finance, Information Systems, Information Technology, or other technical discipline
    • CPA preferred, or CPA eligible
