Job DescriptionSummary:Provide high-level administrative support by conducting research, preparing statistical reports, handling information requests, and performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings. May also train and supervise lower-level administrative or clerical staff. Perform all other duties as required.Responsibilities:Will attend meetings; record, compile, transcribe, and distribute minutes of meetings. Conduct research, compile data, and prepare papers for consideration and presentation by executives, management, committees, and boards of directors. Coordinate and direct office services, such as records and budget preparation, and personnel. May develop and interpret administrative and operating policies and procedures for employees. Arrange travel for managers/executives. Meet with individuals, special interest groups, and other on behalf of management.Review operating practices and procedures in order to determine whether improvements can be made in areas such as workflow, reporting procedures, or expenditures. Handles confidential information.RequirementsQualifications/Competencies/Experience:In addition to levels 1,2 and 3 shares experience with others to meet objectives in own area. Acts as a technical specialist within own area. Is a team leader; may or may not formally supervise others. Has developed depth and breadth of knowledge/skills in own area. Is able to work independently or with minimal supervision/guidance. Minimum of eight to ten years of experience in an engineering environment. Expert in Microsoft Office Suite. Attention to detail. Strong proofreading and editing. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.Acts as a facilitator to resolve conflicts within a team. Typically represents 7 to 25+ years relevant experience.
