Position Summary: The Data Reporting Manager works across the enterprise consulting with business stakeholders and leading and developing complex technology projects and reporting development. Through the understanding of business processes, systems and data analysis, the Data Reporting Manager will effectively collaborate with the lines of business to define operational improvement opportunities, and work with development resources to apply technology for increased efficiencies, controls and automation.

Manages high profile, complex and/or cross functional projects and reporting development needs of the department.

Consults with functional unit management and personnel to review, refine and/or extract business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, and levels of systems access. Critically evaluates and provides input on information gathered from multiple sources, reconciles conflicts, and decomposes high-level information for the creation of detailed reporting requirements. Conducts change impact analysis to assess the potential implications of changes and communicates to management and project stakeholders.

Reviews the results of projects and reporting development needs with department management. Makes recommendations of identifying opportunities for improving business processes through information systems and/or non-system driver changes; prepares proposals to develop new applications and/or operational changes; assists in the cost-benefit analysis of a recommended solution(s); plays a lead role in the execution of the selected solution(s), including monitoring of key milestones for delivery and end-user training. Tracks and/or fully documents requirements, changes and development products for functional or business specifications for permanent records and for use in training.

Performs analysis, design, configuration, testing and maintenance of systems to ensure optimal operational performance. Participates in user acceptance testing and testing of new system functionality. Delivers informative, well-organized presentations.

Expert resource on the processes and best practices for conducting requirements practices. Develop and maintain scorecards and dashboards. SKILLS: Must have a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into operational and functional requirements.

Ability to apply general organizational knowledge of the business and systems processes in problem analysis is required. Must have a solid understanding of application programming, database and system design. Ability to lead and negotiate business solutions that balance technical capability, cost, and time, against business need is required.

Must exhibit confidence and an extensive knowledge of industry practices when solving business problems. Ability to successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously is required. Must possess strong leadership skills and generate enthusiasm among team members.

Ability to work independently with users to define concepts, under direction of managers is required. Must possess strong analytical, organizational and product management skills. Ability to communicate difficult sensitive information tactfully is required.

Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts is required. Ability to push creative thinking beyond the boundaries of existing industry practices and client mindsets is required.

Education/Experience: Requires a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), Bachelor's degree and/or minimum 5 to 6 years of residential loan servicing experience, plus 3 to 5 years business systems analysis and project scheduling and budgeting experience preferably in the areas of default loan servicing. Requires sound understanding of systems development lifecycle methodologies. Computer Skills: Should have a strong knowledge of Microsoft tools - Project/Project Server, Team Foundation, Excel, Access, Word, Visio, SharePoint, Exchange; internet software; database software; and mortgage loan servicing systems.

Ability to extract, manipulate and analyze data using complex SQL query statements and advanced database tools. Why Selene?
